# Noted on 26 Sep 2026

16 out of 16 for me. I guess I am an internet grandfather

Also interesting is how many are still true, to some degree:

4 - I owned a Zip100 (never upgraded to the 250). Today I own several 1TB external drives. Kind of the same?

6 - Still do this from time to time

8 - I use Spotify, the spiritual (and technical, originally) successor

11 - I still watch download bars. Only today it is downloading multi-gigabyte language models over a gigabit fibre connection

13 - I use NetNewsWire to read many news/blog site via RSS

16 - Yep still do that
